About Evan Caroccio

An aspiring play-by-play announcer with a bachelors degree from St. Bonaventure University. I was the commentator for the Auburn Doubleday's, a baseball club that is a part of the PGCBL. My skills include having a photographic memory for remembering statistics, operating game time technology efficiently, and critical thinking needed to properly commentate a game. Sports broadcasting has been my passion since I was in elementary, and I have always loved sports production at the professional level. I have experience operating an ESPN+ camera, and have commentated games streamed on ESPN+ such as men's and women's soccer, women’s basketball, softball, and baseball for St. Bonaventure University. Writing press releases is also a skill of mine. I have written a press release, and stories for TAPinto Greater Olean. I have interviewing skills as well and I have interviewed MLB players, and retired NFL players. I have also been a news anchor for St. Bonaventure's SBU-TV program, and have produced news segments for WKBW, the television news channel in Buffalo, NY. I have created voiceovers, and vo-sots for SBU-TV. I am also AED, and CPR certified due to being a New York State, District 8 certified baseball umpire. Some more skills of mine include producing podcasts, leadership skills, and effective communication skills.
